ohn Okoh is a music producer, artiste, dancer, dance trainer, and a video director. Popularly known as JayBeatMix, he is the honcho of RoofRainGreen studio57 located in Surulere.

He began his career as a dancer with DNMT(Dance Na the Main Thing), a popular group Kaffy also started her career with before she broke away with the MTN’s dance competition prize. Back then, DNMT featured in Sunny Neji’s videos including oruka, tolotolo, etc. The group also featured alongside artistes like Ruggedman, Dare, 2face,elDee, Lexzy Doo and so on, both in videos and on stage.

JayBeatMIX then later began running a dance academy on his own where he trained dancers. To his credit, Oneunit, a dance group he’d trained won the Battle of the Year 2010 edition in Lagos. The group later went on to South Africa to represent Nigeria in a dance competition.

All along, he held his own in the studio, producing, recording and engineering music for artistes including for himself. And he has worked with a host of stars including Konga, Blackface, Ruggedman, Black Solo, Angel, The Virus amongst others.

He has his own album coming in the offing featuring singles like booty to robo bai and raise it. His genre of music is all brand, encompassing, hip hop, reggae, R n B, techno/pop, rock n roll and hip life.
